How to make a fabric pendant banner

Hey guys it's Jodi. I thought today I'd show you how to make some adorable double sided pendant banners out of fabric.

I chose 8 coordinating fall colored fabrics so it would work for Halloween and Thanksgiving. I did 2 green, 2 brown, 2 mustard and 2 orange. You'll also need to buy some binding.

The pennants are 7 inches wide and 9 inches long. I am doing 8 pendants on mine but you could do more or less depending on the size you want. I start by cutting my fabric into 9 inch strips. Then I cut them 7 inches across. Next you will want to use a ruler and put in on the top corner and then down to the bottom middle (which is 3.5 inches) and cut, then do the same to the other side.

Take 2 pieces of the same fabric pendant stick them wrong sides together and sew down the sides using a straight stitch. Do this to all of them.

After sewing all your pendants choose which order you want them to be in. Then stack them in that order to make it easy.

Take your binding strip and measure down 10 inches. Stick in your first pendant and zig zag stitch until there is a 1/2 inch left and then stick in your next pennant right next to it. Do the same to all 8. Cut the rest of the binding leaving 10 inches on that side too.

Super cute and easy and perfect for decorating with or photo shoots would be super cute with it too!
